Alumni Association seeks nominations for annual awards
The Alumni Association is seeking nominations for its annual awards. To recognize the extraordinary work of alumni, nominate them for the Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna Award, the Humanitarian Award, or the Monsignor James Lavin Award.
The awards will be presented on St. Thomas Day, March 7, 2009. Nominations can be submitted via the Alumni Association's Get Involved Web page. Deadline for all nominations is Sunday, Aug. 31.
About the awards
The Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna Award honors a St. Thomas graduate for leadership and service to the university, the community and his or her field of endeavor.
The Humanitarian Award recognizes the contributions of an alumnus or alumna to the betterment of the spiritual and material welfare of the less fortunate.
The Monsignor James Lavin Award honors an alumnus or alumna for outstanding contributions and service to the St. Thomas Alumni Association, its programs and its services.
