Annual Charitable Giving Campaign ends Friday

Annual Charitable Giving Campaign ends Friday

St. Thomas' annual Charitable Giving Campaign will end on Friday, Oct. 12. If you have not already done so, please send your completed forms to the Office for Mission, Mail # AQU104.

Last year, the campaign raised more than $56,500 for seven charitable federations: Community Health Charities, Community Shares of Minnesota (formerly Community Solutions Fund), Minnesota Environmental Fund, Open Your Heart to the Hungry and the Homeless, United Arts, United Negro College Fund, United Way, and for a number of designated charities.

Don't forget that all new contributors, as well as those who increase their donation to the campaign by 10 percent, are eligible for a drawing at the end of the campaign. As part of that drawing, Father Dennis Dease has agreed to host five employees for lunch. There also are gift cards for the UST Bookstore, a Gainey getaway, a stay at Quadna Resort (April 11-13, 2008), a variety of Tommie gear, commemorative plaques of the O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center stained glass window, commemorative hockey pucks and a Wyatt Smith-autographed puck and photo, gift basket of office supplies, other gift certificates, and more.

To be eligible for the drawing, please return your completed pledge form to the Office for Mission by Friday, Oct. 12. For a complete list of donated items and their contributors, a copy of the pledge form, links to the federations, or other information about the campaign, visit the Charitable Giving Web site.
