Art Attack and STAR invite the St. Thomas community to visit the O'Shaughnessy Educational Center lobby gallery after 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 1, to view "Kicks!" – a new shoe-related, student-art exhibit.
Students have pre-purchased pairs of shoes through Tom's, an organization that donates a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair purchased by consumers. On Saturday, students will paint their shoes and create a display of the shoes as well as other art submitted by students, such as photographs and paintings. In addition to art, cookies, refreshments and music will be provided.
Extra canvases will be available for students who want to paint and contribute to the exhibit. "Kicks!" will remain on display in the lobby throughout May.
