The Upper Midwest Banner Users’ Group, a consortium of schools that utilize Banner on their campuses, will present a conference on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 12-13, at the University of St. Thomas.
The UMBUG conference is offered four times per year on member institutions’ campuses and at SunGard’s annual summit. At these conferences, colleagues from other regional Banner schools, vendors and SunGard representatives talk about best practices in Banner, data integrity and reporting, and they share ideas at round-table discussions, and much more.
There are no departmental or individual costs to attend, but registration is required. Each institution pays membership dues and can send an unlimited number to the conference. See the UMBUG website for more details, including a list of member institutions.
Register here by Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012. Registration is required in order to obtain an accurate count for facilities and catering needs.
Campus representatives are expecting 150 to 175 people to attend the conference, and volunteers will be needed to help direct guests on campus.
For more information about the conference, or to volunteer, email Shaun Faricy, conference project manager, or Linda Dorn, conference committee member.
