Colleges Against Cancer is ready to kick it into gear again this fall. The student group will continue with its awareness and prevention events and will volunteer at Hope Lodge, a residence for cancer patients while receiving treatment.
CAC's main focus, however, is Relay for Life, a fun, all-night spring event that raises money for the American Cancer Society.
CAC will hold its first meeting of the semester at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, in Room 155, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Returning CAC members, relay participants who want to become more involved and all who have a passion for fighting cancer are welcome.
