The Center for Business Excellence is offering several programs in October. A 33 percent discount is available to UST alumni, and a 75 percent discount is available to UST faculty and staff.

Institute for Ministry Leaders, Tuesdays, Oct. 4-Nov. 22
The Institute for Ministry Leaders addresses the practical management issues in developing a new ministry or advancing an existing one to the next level. In an affirming environment, leaders are able to strengthen their skills by focusing on the many facets of managing a ministry. The content of this program is specifically designed to focus on faith-based nonprofit organizations and congregations to successfully move their missions forward.

FastTrac NewVenture, Thursdays, Oct. 13-Dec. 15
FastTrac NewVenture, a program of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation of Kansas City, is a nine-module program designed to assist individuals in assessing the feasibility of a new venture. Entrepreneurs identify business opportunities, learn to research the market, develop business concepts, identify entry strategies and complete a business plan for a start-up venture.
