Center for Business Excellence announces some September, October programs

The Center for Business Excellence is offering several programs in September and October, some of which are listed below. A 33 percent discount is available to UST alumni, and a 75 percent discount is available to UST faculty and staff. Family Business Roundtables: Leadership Challenges in Family Enterprises

7:30-9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22

Developed by the Center for Family Enterprise, the Family Enterprise Roundtables informally explore what to do – and what not to do – in day-to-day interactions among family-owners, employees, and board members to make family leadership a competitive advantage. 

Each session is customized based on the needs and interests of the participants. This inaugural session of the Family Enterprise Roundtables will involve a discussion on leadership challenges in family enterprises. A light breakfast will be provided.

FastTrac Growth Venture

Wednesdays, Oct. 4-Dec. 13

FastTrac Growth Venture provides entrepreneurs with the tools they need to make critical decisions and equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to manage growth.

Becoming an Influential Leader: Defining Your Leadership Style

Three two-day modules on Fridays and Saturdays, between Oct. 6 and Dec. 16

This program will provide participants with insightful information that can help shape their personal leadership style in order to fully realize their potential. Participants will have an understanding of themselves and how they influence the thinking and behaviors of employees toward achieving organizational goals.

Leadership Institute for Ministry Excellence

Six sessions, Oct. 12, 2006-May 24, 2007

The Leadership Institute for Ministry Excellence develops and strengthens leadership qualities of pastors and “member-leaders” to increase church effectiveness and promote congregational empowerment.
