College of Applied Professional Studies to host open house Nov. 8
The University of St. Thomas will host an open house Thursday for prospective students in the fields of counseling psychology, education, leadership and organization development.
The open house is presented by the College of Applied Professional Studies (Graduate School of Professional Psychology and School of Education). The open house will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in Room 201, Opus Hall, on the university’s downtown Minneapolis campus, on 10th Street and LaSalle Avenue.
Interested individuals will have the opportunity to talk with faculty members and students from all programs. Financial aid representatives will be available to answer questions. Application fees will be waived for those who apply for admission at the open house. The event will feature drawings for prizes and tuition discounts.
"Short Timely Teaching Tips" sessions will be offered. Faculty will discuss integrating technology into the classroom, anxious learners and meeting the needs of students with autism spectrum disorders.
