Core-strengthening seminar and workout is Thursday

Ty Stenzel, CSCS; Karen Karlson, ATC/R; and Karen Johanson, PT, will present a workshop on strengthening your body’s core from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 4, in the third-floor gym, O’Shaughnessy Hall.

Topics covered will be:

  • What is your core?
  • Why is your core important?
  • What exercises strengthen and stabilize these muscles?

The workshop will include a quick mini-lecture and hands-on workout.
