Credit Union celebrates International Credit Union Week with open houses

The St. Thomas Employee Federal Credit Union will join more than 42,000 credit unions in 92 countries in celebration of International Credit Union Week next week. The theme for this year is “Credit Unions: Together We’re Better.”

Minneapolis employees can stop by the credit union table from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, in the second-floor atrium of Terrence Murphy Hall, Minneapolis campus. Register for a $30 raffle for a deposit to a credit union share account, enjoy the refreshments, and pick up any credit union forms (member information and cards, payroll authorization forms and loan applications) you may need. The credit union staff will be on hand to answer questions or to just say hello.

In St. Paul, an open house will be held during regular credit union hours, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the credit union office, Room 209, Loras Hall. The event will include another $30 raffle and refreshments.

All UST employees are welcome, including nonmembers. Raffle winners can deposit the $30 to an existing account or use it to open a new account.
