Delta Sigma Pi will host national speaker Brad Karsh, president and founder of JobBound, a company dedicated to helping students prepare for the job search and life after school, tonight in the O'Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium. The free talk begins at 7 p.m. and is open to all students and faculty on campus.
Karsh is an industry expert on breaking into the job market and an accomplished public speaker and author. He has been featured on CNN, CNBC, and "Dr. Phil," and he has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and USA Today among other newspapers. He is a job-advice columnist for both Yahoo! and AdAge, and he is the author of Confessions of a Recruiting Director: The Insider’s Guide to Landing Your First Job.
Karsh will give his famous “Confessions of a Recruiting Director: The Insider’s Guide to Landing Your First Job” speech and will raffle off two of his books during the event. The event is sponsored by the Career Development Center, the University Lectures Committee, RJM Construction, and Delta Sigma Pi.
