'Making Dollars and Change: Nonprofit Jobs' presentation is April 21.

Delta Sigma Pi and the Department of Ethics and Business Law have teamed up to offer a presentation by three professionals in the nonprofit sector. The event, “Making Dollars and Change: Nonprofit Jobs,” will take place on Thursday, April 21.

Presenters:

  • Karen Reid, executive director of the Neighborhood Development Alliance
  • Mike Wassenaar, executive director of the St. Paul Neighborhood Network
  • Andrea Specht, executive director of the Bloomington Theatre and Art Center

The speakers will share stories about how they landed in nonprofit jobs and why they stay there. They also will present tangible examples of what they do, why they do what they do, and success stories and challenges. Time for questions and answers will be allotted.

The discussion will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Food and beverages will be served; all are invted to attend.
