Dr. Ann Klejment, a professor in St. Thomas’ History Department, will give a Feminist Friday presentation on a “Readers’ Guide to Dorothy Day’s Autobiographical The Long Loneliness.”
This Feminist Friday event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, in the Luann Dummer Center for Women, Room 103, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center.
One of Klejment’s specialties is the history of American Catholicism, including research on Dorothy Day, the founder of the Catholic Worker movement. For those who would like to read The Long Loneliness, or have read it but still have questions about Day and her spirituality, Klejment’s talk and discussion will help bring the renowned author to life.
Bring a lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided.
