Don’t feel like cooking? Kids tired of turkey leftovers? Want to help Volunteers in Action (VIA) provide a holiday dinner for homeless adults?
VIA, a student organization, will receive 20 percent of the proceeds from every order placed at Davanni’s from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, Nov. 29.
To ensure that VIA receives its portion of the sales, this form must be used. Be sure to print out the form and present it with payment at the restaurant. The offer applies to eat-in or take-out orders.
Funds received from this project will help support VIA’s Dec. 4 dinner. In this annual event, St. Thomas students serve an elegant meal to approximately 200 homeless adults from St. Paul. VIA also provides the guests with small care packages to help get them through the holiday season more comfortably.
