Entre Today breakfast program to look at 'Survival Strategies in a Politically Charged Society'

The Center for Business Excellence will present Dr. Barbara Tuckner, principal of Tuckner Consulting Inc., speaking on "Survival Strategies in a Politically Charged Society" at an Entre Today breakfast program Friday, Jan. 25.

Being deemed "political" is hardly a compliment; however, most organizations are based solely upon politics. In this politically charged society, one’s leadership reputation can be made or broken simply by one’s actions.

Savvy leaders have well-developed influencing skills that are assertive in their orientation, transparent in their communication, and ethical in their reach. Tuckner will build upon classic leadership philosophies to identify prudent influencing strategies that correlate within political environments.

Entre Today will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on the university's Minneapolis campus.

Discounts are available to UST students, alumni, faculty and staff. For more information or to register, call the Center for Business Excellence, (651) 962-4600, or visit the Entre Today Web page.
