Extras needed for 'Icebreaker' movie

The movie "Icebreaker," which is being filmed in the Twin Cities, is looking for extras. Extras are not paid, but receive credit in the movie and food is provided.

"Icebreaker" is a romantic comedy made by independent filmmakers Chad Martin and Nick Evert (Streckfus Entertainment). The film will feature a cast and crew comprised entirely of local talent. "Icebreakers" will be submitted to film festivals around the country after its completion.

The extras are needed to make local bars look crowded. At least 100 people, ages 21 to 35, are needed at each shoot. Alcohol will not be served at the bar locations. Filming will start after the bars close or on Sundays. Bars include Brothers Bar and Grill, Euphoria and Cabooze. For specific information, visit the "Icebreaker" Web site.

If you're interested in being an extra, sign up online or contact Mary Baranczyk a couple days before the shoot.
