Faculty: Interested in developing a J-Term UMAIE course?
Faculty who are interested in developing a January Term UMAIE (Upper Midwest Association for Intercultural Education) course are invited to meet with Tave Reser, director, Seminars International, on Thursday or Friday, Sept. 14 or 15.
More than 20 St. Thomas faculty teach UMAIE courses each January, and more than 200 St. Thomas undergraduate students participate. This consortium shares faculty and students from seven colleges and universities to create a January Term international curriculum, and all logistics are supported by Seminars International Inc.
Faculty who are interested, including faculty who would like to develop future January Term or short-term off-campus programs, should contact Sarah Spencer, International Education, (651) 962-6452, about meeting with Reser.
