Family Enterprise Roundtable on 'Board of Directors in Family Firms' is Oct. 20
The next Family Enterprise Roundtable is titled "Board of Directors in Family Firms." Leading the discussion will be Michael Sullivan, Opus Distinguished Chair in Family Enterprise, and Bill Monson, director, Center for Family Enterprise.
This event will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20, in Terrence Murphy Hall, Minneapolis campus. A light breakfast will be provided.
Family Enterprise Roundtables are offered through the Center for Business Excellence and developed by the Center for Family Enterprise. The roundtables informally explore what to do – and what not to do – in day-to-day interactions among family owners, employees and board members to make family leadership a competitive advantage.
Each session is customized based on the needs and interests of the participants. This upcoming session of the Family Enterprise Roundtables will involve a discussion on the role of the board of directors within a family business.
The fee is $50 per person, with a registration deadline of Friday, Oct. 13.
