Finals week and summer parking information announced

St. Paul Campus Summer Parking
Beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, May 11, permits will not be required in all employee and commuter lots on the St. Paul campus for the duration of the summer.

Permits will still be required in restricted lots during the summer, including Lot P (School of Divinity), Lot Q (Faculty Residence), Lot L (Admissions) and Lot J (85G). All other parking regulations will continue to be enforced. These include: parking meters, unauthorized parking in restricted spaces (i.e., Rideshare, Hairworks, Child Development Center, etc.), no parking zones, loading docks, 15-minute zones, handicapped spaces and fire lanes.

Beginning at 8 a.m. Friday, May 18, permits will not be required in all resident lots for the duration of the summer. Overnight parking will not be allowed in nonresident lots at any time during the summer. Overnight residents and visitors must park in Lots R3, R2, R1, and P1 (of Selby Hall) on the north campus and lots X, Y, V, or U on the south campus.

Parking in resident lots during finals week and move-out
Permits will be required in resident lots during the week of May 13-18 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. Overnight parking will be allowed only in lots R1, P1 (of Selby Hall), R2, R3, X, Y, V or U with a valid permit during this week. Residents without permits who are moving out may park only in resident lots from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and in commuter/employee lots from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Refer to parking info e-mailed out to resident students for complete and detailed information regarding parking procedures during the move-out process. Please remember that fire lanes, drive aisles, meters and other restricted areas will continue to be enforced, even during move-out.
