'Financial Sanity' workshops for parents and grandparents offered May 6 and 13

St. Thomas' Human Resources Department invites St. Thomas employees to attend a free "Financial Sanity" workshop for parents and grandparents by financial adviser Nathan Dungan, author of Prodigal Sons and Material Girls: How Not to Be Your Child's ATM (Wiley, 2003).

Presented by the Minnesota College Savings Plan, Dungan's presentation is titled "Diapers, Daycare to Degree."

Two workshops are scheduled:

  • 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, in the auditorium of the Minnesota History Center, 345 Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul.
  • 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, in Gold Room A of the Schwan Center at the National Sports Center, 1700 105th Ave. N.E., Blaine.
