A fundraiser to help Diana Hamilton, J.D., 2006, and Tonya Long, a legal assistant, with medical bills will be held Tuesday, June 26, at the School of Law on the university’s Minneapolis campus, 1000 LaSalle Ave.
Hamilton has nonsmoker’s lung cancer, and Long has a rare, progressive illness that also is life threatening.
The fundraiser will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. in the School of Law atrium. Tickets are a minimum of $25 and will be available at the door and in advance from Irene Opsahl, (612) 746-3623, and Monica Bogucki, (612) 746-3614.
The fundraiser will include food, activities, entertainment and a pie auction.
