A year-end picnic and discussion sponsored by HECUA, CILCE, the Green Team, and the university's Stewardship Garden will celebrate the environmental movement and the end of the academic year from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 4, at the university’s Stewardship Garden. The garden is located on the southwest corner of the south campus behind Brady Educational Center.
Julia Nerbonne from HECUA and 350.org will be there at 5 p.m. to discuss HECUA’s environmental programs as well as how students can get involved with the environmental movement in the Twin Cities.
The campus community is invited to drop by the picnic anytime for music, yard games and conversation. Food will be provided, but since it’s a picnic feel free to bring something to share.
Student alumni will be on hand to answer questions and share their experiences about HECUA and other programs.
