To connect with the many international students on campus ...
Go global with CultureLink
The UST Office of International Student Services (OISS) invites UST students, faculty and staff to join Culture Link.
This program connects international students with American students, faculty and staff for a global experience through two mediums: CultureLink Friendship Family and Communication Partners. The goal of CultureLink is to promote cultural exchange within the St. Thomas community and to help international students adjust to life in the United States.
Communication Partners
The Communication Partners program connects international students with UST students, faculty and staff members for developing friendships, and learning about cultures and traditions. Together, those in Communication Partners experience life in the Twin Cities, learn about each other's countries, and get a valuable international experience.
CultureLink Friendship Family
The CultureLink Friendship Family program matches new international students with American families from local communities. Founded on the conviction that we should learn from each other, the program provides cultural experiences for community members and helps international students experience true Minnesota culture in American families.
The goal is to make the St. Thomas community a home away from home for international students.
If interested in participating in either program attend an informational session from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, in Room 155, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.
To participate, apply online via the CultureLink Web site.
