Graduate Programs in Music Education will host a student recital and distinguished artist lecture

Here are two upcoming events offered by Graduate Programs in Music Education:

Student recital

You are invited to attend a student recital from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, in Baumgaertner Auditorium, Brady Educational Center. Scott Fairweather, Patrick Geiger, Skye Sanford, Faith Gaskell, Katy Howd and Aaron Kapaun will perform.

2006 Jane Frazee Distinguished Artist-Lecturer Series

The 2006 Jane Frazee Distinguished Artist-Lecturer Series will feature Jane Frazee, the founder and former director of GPME. She will present “Practice Matters: Advancing the Art of Music Teaching.”

The seminar will be held from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, July 23, in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. There is a $10 fee for the seminar; students with ID attend at no cost.
