Great Books Reading Group to meet Oct. 12
You're invited to join St. Thomas' Great Books Reading Group, which reads a book and meets to discuss it each month.
The group will meet to discuss Billy Budd, Sailor by Herman Melville from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, in Room 388, Owens Science Hall.
Selections for the next couple months are:
- Nov. 9: Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton
- Dec. 14: The Mystery of Capital by Hernando de Sota
All books are available in the university's St. Paul campus Bookstore. Look for the Great Books poster near the customer service desk.
