The St. Thomas Guitar Ensemble will perform today, Friday, Dec. 2, in the O’Shaughnessy (“Leather”) Room (108), O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center. The concert will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
The Guitar Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Joan Griffith, plays many styles of music, from classical to jazz, and some original music by UST students and faculty. Concert repertoire will include the music of Antonio Vivaldi and jazz great Oscar Pettiford, as well some Gypsy and Brazilian favorites.
Light refreshments will be served.
