Here comes the Sun Safety Week
It's been a long, cold, lonely winter … so, finally, here comes the Sun Safety Week, May 5-9, presented by the Wellness Center.
The week will feature the Sun Safety Sunscreen Hunt, Lemonade and Sunscreen on the Quad, and the Protect Your Epidermis Sun Safety Volleyball tournament.
The Sun Safety Sunscreen Hunt will feature daily clues in Bulletin Today, is open to current St. Thomas students, and has rules similar to those of the Heritage Week Treasure Hunt. A bottle of sunscreen will be hidden somewhere on the St. Paul campus. A new clue will be published daily, starting Monday, May 5, in Bulletin Today. Searchers do not need to tip, dismantle, mangle, uproot or otherwise wreck anything to find the treasure.
Lemonade and Sunscreen on the Quad will be held Tuesday, May 6, over convo hour.
The Protect Your Epidermis Sun Safety Volleyball tournament begins at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 8. Teams of six (at least two of each gender) will play for the champion's prize of $60 toward Chipotle /Jimmy Johns. Sign up at the Wellness Center by Monday May 5.
