Jennifer Bradow Memorial Scholarship applications due April 18
Annually since 1994, the Jennifer Bradow Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to a student who has lived on campus and demonstrated leadership as an active participant in campus programs. This $3,000 scholarship is awarded through Student Financial Services.
If you fit the guidelines below, you are encouraged to apply. Application forms can be picked up at the Residence Life Office, Room 106, Koch Commons, or in Campus Life, Room 110, or Campus Ministry, Room 105, both in Murray-Herrick Campus Center.
Applications must be typed, addressed to Attn: NRHH, and returned by 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, to the Residence Life Office.
Students must reside on campus and have “financial need” as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Preference is given to students who are actively involved in Residence Life, the Residence Hall Association, Campus Ministry or Volunteers in Action.
Jennifer Bradow began her academic career at the University of St. Thomas in 1990 as a freshman resident of John Paul II Residence Hall, where she became a PAC representative. As a sophomore she was a resident adviser in Dowling Hall and as a junior served as a resident adviser and programming coordinator for Grace Hall. Bradow studied nursing at the College of St. Catherine until her death in 1993 as the result of automobile accident.
Bradow was a student leader and an active participant in on-campus residential life. This scholarship was created to acknowledge and reward a student who models the same exceptional qualities for which Bradow was admired.
