Wellness Center, STAR offer kickboxing classes

Join a cardio and core-toning kickboxing class for a fun, fast-paced workout. Learn and practice punching and kicking techniques with focus pad drills. This martial arts based workout will improve agility, confidence, coordination and stamina. The instructor has been in martial arts for 12 years and holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
 
Sign up and "kick it up a notch." No experience is necessary. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a mat or towel to class.

Classes meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays in the third-floor gym, O'Shaughnessy Hall.

Cost is $35 for faculty and staff and $20 for students. The first class in each session is free to try.

After the trial session, a punch card can be purchased anytime at the Box Office, lower level, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, and at the Life-Work Center in Suite 110, Terrence Murphy Hall, Minneapolis campus. The card is valid for any six sessions.
