Learn about neuroscience classes, research opportunities tomorrow at 'Neuro Night 2006'
All UST students are invited to "Neuro Night 2006," a discussion with Dr. Dwight Nelson, Biology Department, and Dr. Roxanne Prichard, Psychology Department, on neuroscience classes and research opportunities at St. Thomas and beyond.
This free event will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, in Baumgaertner Auditorium, Brady Educational Center. Stay for pizza and a screening of the neuroscience classic film "Memento."
Here are some of the things on the agenda:
- Discussion of current neuroscience courses in psychology and biology
- Your input about new neuroscience programs you would like to see at UST
- Discussion on establishing a chapter of NuRhoPsi, a national undergraduate honor society for neuroscience students
- Screening of “Memento” from 7 to 9 p.m.
