Library today: UST ID provides library benefits

From UST Libraries

A UST ID card is your key to access many library materials and services.

Use the 14-digit barcode on the back of your ID for the following options:

  • Book, software, equipment and media checkout
  • Online CLICnet catalog requests for books from other CLIC libraries
  • On-site borrowing privileges at other CLIC libraries
  • ILLiad accounts and interlibrary loan requests

The banner number on the front of UST ID cards also can be used to make photocopies on library machines. Enter the banner number, the two-digit month and the two-digit day of your birthday. Copies are 10 cents and will be deducted from your $40 (400-page) print-and-copy allotment for the semester.

New or replacement IDs are available at the card office on the St. Paul campus or the 24-hour security desk on the Minneapolis campus.

Reminder: Archbishop Ireland Memorial Lecture is Monday

The UST community is invited to the 34th presentation in the Ireland Memorial Lecture Series. Dr. Christopher J. Thompson, academic dean of the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity, will speak on "Preliminary Reflections on the Church and the Environment."

The event will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, in the 3M Auditorium of Owens Science Hall. An informal reception will follow.
