Luann Dummer Center for Women reception, poster session is May 1
The Luann Dummer Center for Women will host a reception and poster session for its 2008-09 student research fellowship recipients on Friday, May 1. The reception will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the women's center, Room 103, O'Shaughnessy Educational Center.
The recipients and their research topics are:
Undergraduate
- Amanda Sesker, psychology major, "A Comparative Study of Irish and American College Students’ Perspectives on Feminism"
Graduate
- Amy Monson, English major, "Writing the Elder Woman's Body From the Erasure of Her Desire"
- Kathleen Wilcox-Harris, School of Education, "A Great Capacity to Love: A Life of Mary Mackbee"
All are welcome to this free event; light refreshments will be served.
