Lunch at Luann’s Book Club to discuss Haunted Ground, by Erin Hart

The Lunch at Luann’s Book Club will discuss Haunted Ground, by Erin Hart, on Wednesday, March 24.

The group will meet from noon to 1 p.m. in the Luann Dummer Center for Women, Room 103, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center. Bring lunch; the event is free and everyone is welcome. Join the discussion, even if you have not read or finished the selection.

Hart, author of the Nora Gavin/Cormac Maguire crime novels, brings the beauty, mystery and romance of the Irish countryside to her debut work. Haunted Ground celebrates Ireland’s turbulent history, revealing the connections between past and present.

“In addition to a complex, multilayered plot that involves both contemporary and historical crimes,” says Publishers Weekly, “Hart’s novel is rich in local color – evenings at the pub, the petty feuds and jealousies of the townspeople and the traditional music and folk culture of Ireland are evocatively rendered.”
