Semester’s First "Lux in Tenebris" Mass to be Celebrated Tomorrow Night

The tradition of Lux in Tenebris Masses at the  St. Paul Seminary will resume tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 21, at St. Mary’s Chapel on the south campus.

Lux in Tenebris, meaning “Light in Darkness,” is a simple liturgy with Latin Mass parts. The focus of the Mass is celebrating hope in Jesus as found in John 1:5 – “The Light shines in the darkness and the darkness does not overcome it.”

Father Bobby Pish will be available for confessions from 8:30 to 9 p.m., and he will celebrate the Mass at 9 p.m.

The Lux in Tenebris Mass will be held every Wednesday evening except during breaks and holidays.
