Have you spent a semester or January Term abroad? Did you know that this experience can be beneficial to potential employers as you apply for jobs and internships?
Strong international experience can set you apart from other job candidates. Learn how to effectively market that experience at a “Marketing Your International Experience” workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 16.
At the workshop, which will run from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Career Resource Room, Murray-Herrick Campus Center (Room 355), you will learn what potential employers are looking for from your international experience and the best way to use your study-abroad experience to help land that summer internship or full-time job after graduation. Topics will include résumés, cover letters and interviews.
The workshop is geared primarily toward undergraduates who have studied abroad for a semester or longer; all returnees are welcome. The event includes a pizza lunch.
Preregistarion is requested on the Career Development website.
