Math and Actuarial Science Club bowl over Nerd Bowl competition
They had to pull their pens out of their pocket protectors in order to figure out their average scores, but when the last of the pins had fallen the Math and Actuarial Science Club had won this semester's Nerd Bowl.
Four teams took part in the event Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Midway Bowl. The Math and Actuarial Science Club won with a team average of 131.The club also had the highest individual game – 169 rolled by Dan LaQua.
The event is held each semester. The team with the highest average wins a bowling pin trophy. This semester the winners also received $5 gift cards to Chipotle.
