Men's Lacrosse Club captures first conference title
Congratulations to the St. Thomas Men's Lacrosse Club, which won its first Upper Midwest Lacrosse League B-conference title April 30 at the National Sports Center in Blaine, defeating rival St. John's 12-7. Click here for highlights, stats and more.
With the win the club solidified a bid in the Club Lacrosse National Championships May 10-13 in Plano, Texas, and is projected to be the No. 3 seed. Check out the team's current poll position and tournament scores here.
The team's record is 11-2, with regular season losses only to St. John's (by one goal) and the University of Minnesota. The team set a club record with five wins in its conference games, defeating Calvin College, Ferris State, Dordt College, Creighton University and Harding University. The club hopes to continue the streak in Plano.
