The Student-Alumni Mentoring Program (SAM), sponsored by the Alumni Association and the Student Alumni Council, offers students an opportunity to meet with an alumnus or alumna on an ongoing basis throughout the academic year for conversations about networking, job searching, starting a career, and balancing work and personal lives.
The program begins with a kick-off event in November, followed by various options for mid-year meetings and an end-of-year group event. Registrations for the 2011-12 SAM program are due by Friday, Oct. 21.
Here’s how to get involved:
- Visit the Alumni Association website and click on SAM under the “Connect” column.
- Create a guest login if you haven’t previously used the Alumni Association website.
- Block off the list of important dates on your calendar.
- Start thinking about your future and how the powerful network of UST alumni can help.
