Today my husband and I are celebrating our third month of marriage. I cannot believe it!!! Just three months ago we were in Venezuela single. And now we are in Minnesota, married and doing our MBA.
But we are not only studying, we also are looking for our summer internships. So this week we went to a big career fair sponsored by the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s (NSHMBA). It was amazing--hundreds of companies in the same place at the same time and the opportunity to talk with each of them about your career goals.
Thanks to all the preparation that we had with the career services coaches before the fair I was able to obtain an interview with Medtronic!!!! Although they do not know if they will have internships available, at least they like my resume and have my contact information. Plus it was a great practice.
Next week we will have our first midterm…let’s see if we survive!
