Minneapolis campus parking permit sales begin Aug. 13
The University of St. Thomas Public Safety Department will begin selling Minneapolis campus parking permits today, Monday, Aug. 13, at the second-floor desk in Opus Hall.
All new and returning full-time students are eligible to purchase and pick up their new parking contracts during the times listed below. The desk will be open during standard building hours:
- 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday-Friday
- 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday
- Hours vary Sunday; call (651) 962-4100
To be eligible for a fall 2007 parking contract, students must be registered for a minimum of 12 day credits and be on campus a minimum of three days per week. Daytime class hours for parking permit eligibility are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Evening and part-time students are not eligible for a parking contract through the University of St. Thomas, but are advised to pay the $2 parking rate at the City of Minneapolis Ramp, 11th Street and Harmon Place.
