Multicultural Student Services will host a mobile museum and community dialogue in celebration of American Indian/Native Alaskan Heritage Month on Monday, Nov. 21, and Tuesday, Nov. 22. The events will be held in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.

Ritchie Plass will bring a mobile museum and community dialogue to campus on Monday, Nov. 21, and Tuesday, Nov. 22.
The "Bittersweet Winds" exhibit will be open from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 21, and from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 22. A discussion and presentation by Richie Plass of the Menominee/Stockbridge-Munsee Indian reservation will immediately follow Tuesday’s exhibit.
Plass will present on education, culture, traditions, professional environment and social impact. His sessions deal with issues such as Menominee and general Native American history, past and present Native American issues such as logos and mascots, Native American lore and performing arts, and dealing with and living in a world of different cultures.
He is a published poet and a musician whose country music band has been nominated for a NAMMY (Native American Music Award). His warm and winning personality has taken him from entertainer to advocate for Indian issues and from acting in films to diversity training. He also is a traditional Menominee dancer.
