Network with communications professionals at ‘Meet the Pros’ April 6
Calling all communications students: You are invited to attend “Meet the Pros,” an opportunity to meet with and learn from business communications professionals. This event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 6, in Room 201, Opus Hall, Minneapolis campus.
A buffet-style dinner will be served from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by brief presentations by Minnesota members of the International Association for Business Communications (IABC) who work in specialties that include: marketing communications, media relations, employee communications, electronic and Web media, writing, design, community relations, international relations and government relations.
Informal roundtable discussions with the professionals will be held from 7 to 8 p.m., and one-to-one networking will start at 8 p.m.
This is your chance to network with other communication students and with professionals who have been in the business, some for more than 20 years. Don’t miss this opportunity to jump-start your career.
