New or gently used hats, mittens, scarves needed for homeless people
From the Master of Social Work Student Association
The Master of Social Work Student Association is collecting hats, mittens and scarves for homeless men, women and children in Hennepin County. A collection bin is set up now through Sunday, Nov. 26, on the fourth floor, Loras Hall, between the elevator and stairway entrance.
Winter is on the way. Please donate new or "like new" (gently used and freshly washed) items. Each item makes a huge difference. Spread the word to other faculty, staff and students.
All donated items will be distributed during the Project Homeless Connect event on Monday, Dec. 4. Thank you in advance and best wishes for a wonderful wrap-up to your fall semester!
