Nominations for the 2009 Tommie Award close Nov. 12

It's not too late to nominate a senior for the Tommie Award; nominations close Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Nomination packets may be picked up at either the Dean of Students Office, MHC101, or the Campus Life Office, MHC110. Nomination forms also are available on the Tommie Award Web page.

All completed Tommie Award nomination materials must be returned to the Dean of Students Office, the Campus Life Office, or received by mail at Mail #4045 no later than 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12.  Late entries will not be accepted.

The Tommie Award is presented annually to a St. Thomas senior. Students, faculty and staff are invited to nominate seniors whose scholarship, leadership and campus involvement make them worthy recipients of the award. Nominees must have senior status, graduate not later than December 2009 and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75.

The Tommie Award is sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs. For more information call Kate Salvatore, (651) 962-6120, or visit the Tommie Award Web page.
