The Northfield Metro EXPRESS now offers daily bus service between St. Thomas and Northfield. Additional stops include Carleton and St. Olaf colleges, the University of Minnesota and the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
The bus stops at St. Thomas on Summit Avenue at Finn Street three times a day Monday through Friday and twice on Saturdays and Sundays. (The schedule lists all stops and times.)
The cost per ride is $10 one way. A trial subscription is $99 for the first month; after the trial month the cost is $230 per month.
Subscription holders and single-ticket riders should make their reservations in advance to ensure that space is available. Reservations can be made via the Northfield Metro EXPRESS Web site, or call (888) 670-8068 or (507) 645-5267 during business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 to 10 a.m. Saturday.
