Paul Simmons appointed university registrar
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Simmons as the university registrar effective July 18.
Paul comes to us from Northwestern Health Sciences University, where as registrar and director of institutional research, he was responsible for completing the conversion to a new records and registration software system as part of its expansion efforts. Paul brings 20 years of registrar's office experience, having served as registrar at Augsburg College, as associate registrar at The Ohio State University, and as assistant registrar at Indiana University.

He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Paul received strong support from the search committee and from all he met on campus. His references had high praise for his supervision and team-building skills, his wide range of experience and the depth of his policy-and-practice knowledge.
Paul will join a team reporting to me: Dr. Sarah Stevenson, director of international programs; Dr. Michael C. Jordan, director of undergraduate academic affairs; and Dr. John Krebsbach, associate dean for academic advising and special programs.
