Please remember in your prayers Jerome F.E. Halverson, former dean of New College, an evening and weekend continuing education program that the University of St. Thomas used to offer. He died April 15 in Fort Myers, Florida, and a private service was held. A memorial service is being planned at St. Joan of Arc, Minneapolis. Date and time are to be determined.
Halverson, a Minneapolis native, served as dean from 1983 until 1998. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Linda Scott Halverson, PhD; daughter Sara Halverson; stepson Mark Carey and two stepdaughters, Sarah and Laura Scott.
