Phillips, 56, died in a plane crash in Alaska on Monday, Aug. 9. Prayers also are requested for William Phillips Jr., 13, who survived the crash.
Private funeral services will be held this week in Washington, D.C. William Sr. was the former chief-of-staff to Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska), who also died in the crash.
