Please remember in your prayers Serane (Sy) Hennes. He was the father of Doug Hennes ’77, University Relations, and Greg Hennes ’85, and the father-in-law of Karen Hennes, President’s Office, and Dr. Joseph Willett '82.
Hennes, 94, died Sunday, Jan. 10, in St. Paul. A Memorial Mass was at 11 a.m. Jan. 20 at St. Peter’s historic church in Mendota. Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Jan. 19 at O’Halloran and Murphy, 575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul, and at the church an hour before the funeral.
