President’s Academic Convocation is Tuesday, Sept. 4
Father Dennis Dease, president of St. Thomas, will deliver his annual opening address to the faculty and welcome new full-time faculty, professional staff and adjunct faculty to the St. Thomas community at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, in St. Mary’s Chapel at the St. Paul Seminary, 2260 Summit Ave.
Participants in the academic procession to the convocation will gather at 1:10 p.m. in the Owens Science Hall corridors near 3M Auditorium (if weather is inclement, faculty will assemble by 1:10 p.m. in St. Olaf's Room, located in the lower level of the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity).
The procession will begin at 1:25 p.m. A reception will follow the convocation in the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity courtyard.
